If you love history, and are interested trying to discover what really happened during the American War for Independence, and then sharing what you learn with others then the re-created "His Majesty's Fifth Regiment of Foot" is for you. You would be participating in parades, battle reenactments, Honour Guards, and Living History demonstrations. You must be 16 years of age or older to participate with the line troops, however if you are younger, or are just more interested in the musical side of things, snare drummers and fifers were an essential part of the army, and is definitely one that is in short supply. You will have an opportunity to improve your skills, learn the regimental music, and take part in everything that the line Troops participate in, with also special opportunities, to perform at various "music" events.
This is the time to take up arms and help support His Majesty's forces, in the effort to suppress the unruly rebellion in the 13 colonies.
